RE-CYCLING A TREASURE

My father-in-law, who worked as a photographer, was also a great collector. He collected plants, leaves, nature in any way and metal, that he bought on antique markets to create his artworks. Unfortunately he can't work anymore. As we made up his studio, we found all the boxes with his collections – a real treasure. By seeing this I knew I could not throw that away without taking pictures of it. There I started the Re-cycling Project. I used his props. And his camera, a Nikon D3s in his studio. And made something else out of it.
But I never ever wanted to compare. This is all about my pics. I wanted to show the momentariness of life and that there is always beauty in nature. Even when it is already dead. I arranged corps. That's it, somehow.
Hope you feel the joy of creating Nature Extra Dry.
